WW2, British, Army Housewife, Dunkirk Era, 1939.
Was £75 now £65
The WW2 British army Housewife, or ‘Hussif’, was issued to all troops to enable them to carry out running repairs in the field. This example has no markings; however, it does contain a 1939 dated packet of needles, three balls of darning wool, brass thimble, scissors, additional needles attached to khaki serge flap and a range of brass and steel buttons from various manufactures.
A rare chance to obtain an early pack of dated sewing needles. Priced to reflect condition and early date.
