WW2 British, Mk. V1a, Haversack waist Belt.
Was £75 now £65
For certain jobs/roles the haversack was deemed impractical to be worn on the chest and needed a respirator with a long hose to be used and the haversack to be worn on the side. The belt prevented the haversack from ‘flapping’ during vagarious movement.
This example is in very good order, has the owners’ initials, FE, stamped to the buckles and is priced to reflect rarity and condition. Just the thing to finish off a long-hosed haversack and respirator combo.
