WW2 Period, British Milk Bottle, Survivor of the East End Blitz.

Recovered from a test trench this unidentified milk bottle is a rare survivor, salvaged during building work by myself during building work at a school in East Ham, London. We were led to believe that the school was built on ‘hardcore’ retrieved from Blitz rubble. The rubble contained many broken tea pots and cups, smashed jam jars, etc. and this was one of just a few items that came out intact.
