WW2, British Issue, Field Pillow
Field pillows of WW2 differed little from those of WWI. They consist of an empty cloth bag with a top or side opening closed by a pair of cloth ties. The soldier would stuff the bag with his own clothing, straw, grass, etc.
Many slightly different designs can be found, this particular example was manufactured in 1942 by C. B. Co Ltd from a pale khaki cotton/canvas.
A fantastic item for vintage campers or re-enactors who wish to 'keep it real'. We have other items that would accompany this to enhance that vintage feel.
