WW2 British Amphibious Assault Life Belt, 1943 (FOR RESTORATION).

Produced to be worn on amphibious operations by troops, these models needed to be manually inflated by means of a nozzle to the front and were held in place by cotton tapes.

This 1943 dated example is stamped and in needed of restoration. As can be seen the inflation tube has perished and come away from the body of the belt, however, the item will be supplied with a sacrificial belt with supple inflation tube to enable the restoration to take place.
