Denim overalls produced early in the war have the same looks as the Battledress Serge, while later they followed similar changes as to the 1940 Austerity Battledress. Named to Lieutenant H. Allan Wright and retaining its Eagle and Anchor badge.
Worthy of further research, however, we believe that this may have belonged to HENRY A. WRIGHT, 2LT, USMC, killed in action on February 6, 1968 by small arms fire from North Vietnamese forces. He was a platoon commander wit... read more

The ground sheet was made of waterproofed canvas in a variety of khaki shades. Early examples, such as this, have metal grommets around the edges (later examples being just punched holes) in order to allow fastening cords to make capes or shelters.
The standard dimension was 6’ long by 3’6”... read more
